Giving to MVC
There are a number of ways you can make a meaningful impact and help support the mission of Mount Vernon Christian School. Your generosity can help enhance educational programs and helps to bridge the gap between tuition and the true cost of educating a student. Your tax-deductible gift will help keep the cost of tuition reasonable for families seeking a Christian education and empower future generations with the necessary tools and principles for academic, personal, and spiritual growth.

Memorials
One meaningful way to contribute is by establishing a memorial gift in honor of a departed loved one. These memorials will leave a lasting legacy that will benefit the school community for years to come.
*Memorials can also be directed to a specific program that held significance to the departed.
Special Interests
You can also direct your donation to a specific program that aligns with your interests and values. This targeted approach will guarantee that your contribution makes a meaningful and focused impact.
Special Interest donations can cover a wide range of academic areas such as: Science, Music, Art, Athletics, FFA, Drama and Shop.
The MVC Foundation
OUR MISSION: The foundation is committed to the long-term viability of an affordable Christian education for children in Skagit County and surrounding communities. The Mount Vernon Christian School Foundation seeks contributions to the investment fund, which allows distribution of the investment income for the benefit of the Mount Vernon Christian School.
Gifts of cash, or other assets received by the foundation are invested wisely and only the investment income is used for the benefit of the Christian School. The actual gift is not distributed; but only the income earned from the investment fund. This allows for “a gift that keeps on giving.”
HOW TO MAKE A GIFT TO THE FOUNDATION: Gifts to the foundation can be made as follows: cash gifts during your lifetime; gifts from your estate or trust following your death; charitable gift annuities; and charitable remainder trusts.
Gifts can be made to the foundation with the assistance of local professionals, as well as the planned giving consultants from the Barnabus Foundation. Representatives of the foundation are prepared to discuss many alternatives for planned gifts. To obtain additional information or schedule an appointment please contact: Jeff Droog, Superintendent of the Mount Vernon Christian School, at (360) 424-9157
INVESTING IN THE FUTURE: If you believe that the enhancement of alternate Christian educational opportunities is important for your future generations, please consider a tax-deductible gift to the Mount Vernon Christian School Foundation. The foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt foundation dedicated solely to supporting the Mount Vernon Christian School.
